New Site Launch
And we’re back!
If you’re new here: I’m James Thomasos! I mainly write about Witches, spooky things, and badass ladies who do badass things, often all at once. I also write and develop videogames as part of Tearcell Game Studio. I used to have a different website and I got rid of it so now we’re here!
I burned the old site to the ground and started over from scratch. I did this for a number of reasons:
I am seriously not built for the Wordpress life.
Any time I wanted to do something with my old website it just took way too much time for research and execution… which hamstrung my willingness to actually update anything on said website.
I really didn’t know what I was doing when I first made my old website; both as a writer and in what I even wanted the site to be used for.
Hell, my first site was branded under the name of my writing practice project!
I’m in a bit of a new era with my writing these days.
I’ve improved over the years and am now shopping around a manuscript for publication, so it seemed prudent to have a website that’s more put together than the old one.
That aside, I’ll be using this site slightly differently than my old one. In the past, I would post the entirety of my books up the site to read. Obviously I can’t do that anymore as I’m trying to get my work published in a more official capacity. However, I will be posting my Short Stories here for free, and since I’m normally working on one or two short stories concurrently with my novellas/novels, those should come out at a fairly decent clip. I’ll be updating this Blog with all manner of content going forward, announcements, reviews, thoughts, pictures of my cat, etc.
